Claim your venue
Find your pin on the map, or add it if we do not have it yet. It takes a couple of minutes.
We check it is really you
A person reviews every registration, usually within two business days. It keeps someone else from claiming your restaurant.
See who is looking you up
Your dashboard shows views, saves and how many people tapped through for directions — the diners who found you and decided to come.
Get featured in your suburb
Optional. Once you are approved, ask to be featured and we will review your request. Featured venues appear at the top of the map for people searching your area.

Numbers you can act on, not a vanity score.
Every claimed venue gets the same dashboard, free. No tier, no trial.
Directions
The number that matters most: people who tapped Directions or Open in Maps. That is someone deciding to walk in.
Saves
Diners who added you to their map to come back to later. A queue of intent you can actually see building.
Featured reach
When you are featured: how many extra people saw you, saved you and asked for directions while you were at the top of the map. No guessing whether it worked.

Every claimed venue gets its listing and dashboard included. Featured placement is by request: tell us you want it, and we review and approve venues for each suburb ourselves.

Featured placement
A limited number of venues appear at the top of the map for each suburb. Once your claim is approved you can request to be featured, and we review and confirm each request by hand. We will show you the numbers for your suburb once you are approved.

Before you start.
- What happens if I do nothing?
- Your venue stays on the map exactly as it is. Diners can still save it and find it. Claiming it only adds your access to the numbers and the ability to be featured.
- How long does approval take?
- Usually within two business days. A person checks every registration, which is how we stop someone claiming a restaurant that is not theirs.
- Someone already claimed my venue.
- Email admin@myfoodmap.com.au from an address at your business and we will sort it out.
- How do I get featured?
- Claim your venue first. Once your claim is approved, request featured placement from your dashboard or by emailing admin@myfoodmap.com.au, and we will review it and confirm.
- Can I edit my listing?
- Not directly yet. For now, email us what needs changing and we will update it — self-serve editing is coming.
